Frequently Asked Questions About Timber Restore
The results from Timber Restore will be relevant to the condition of the floor. If your floor is in reasonable condition with average levels of wear, then we can usually achieve an amazing result with minimal difference to a freshly sanded floor. If the floor has suffered from heavy wear, then some of the wear may still be visible, but much, much less noticeable.
The Timber Restore coatings have almost no odour. If you open a few windows in your home in the first hour then you're unlikely to notice any smell at all from our coatings.
The cost for the Timber Restore Service is between $28 to $35 per square metre depending on the size of the job and the condition of the floor. This works out to $312 to $364 per average (13 square metre) room.
Timber Restore will remove the smaller scratches. Deep scratches will be greatly minimised and often removed. If the scratch has penetrated the polyurethane coating and reach the timber underneath, then any contamination or discolouration of the timber from moisture will still be visible.
