If the contaminated area is greater than the size of a dinner plate, then the contamination may be too significant for effective decontamination and replacing the mattress may be the best course of action. Unfortunately, not all stains of this size can be removed because they will have penetrated too deep into the mattress fibres for our cleaning solution to be effective. For your health, we recommend replacing the mattress.
