ELECTRODRY'S COMMITMENT TO QUALITYCarpet dry cleaning and steam cleaning both have the same goal: clean carpets and stain removal. And they can both be quite effective, depending on the unique system and technician. However the main problem with steam cleaning is that it leaves a lot of water in the carpet, taking hours to dry. A steam cleaning system will jet ten to fifty litres of pressurised water into the carpet, and then extract as much out as it can. How much is extracted depends on the technician’s equipment and patience. At minimum, you’re looking at four to six hours before you can safely walk on your carpet again.
Dry cleaning takes a different strategy. Instead of injecting mountains of water into the carpet, we treat the carpet and stains with our special solutions. Using stain removers and general dry cleaning solutions, we dissolve oils that hold a stain to the carpet fibres. Then, when we bring out our dry cleaning machine, the stains and soils are removed easily, and your carpet is left dry enough to walk on
