More accurately named ‘hot water extraction’, this method involves injecting 10 to 50 litres of pressurised, heated water into the carpet, and then vacuuming it back out. Depending on the method and the technician, this can be very effective. However, it can also leave a lot of water in the carpet. This means that drying times for hot water extraction cleaning can be from 4-6 hours, or sometimes up to a day or more.
Carpet dry cleaning uses dry cleaning solutions to dissolve stains. Our dry cleaning solutions break up the oils that bind dirt to carpet fibres, meaning that stains come out very easily in our conditioning rinse. This allows us to use very little water and still get fantastic results! This means that your carpet should be dry enough to walk on by the time we finish the job, and totally dry in just 1 hour.
