ELECTRODRY'S COMMITMENT TO QUALITYCarpet dry cleaning and steam cleaning can both be effective methods of cleaning carpets and removing stains. The main difference between the two methods is the quantity of water used. Dry cleaning uses very little water, and works by breaking down stains before agitating the carpet with damp cotton pads at high speed.
On the other hand, steam cleaning involves injecting ten to fifty litres of pressurised water into the carpet, and then injecting most of it out again, along with the dirt. While this can be quite effective, it can leave a lot of water in your carpet if you don't have an experienced technician in charge. This means drying times of 4 hours to 24 hours, and the risk of re-marking the wet carpet, or bacteria or mould growth.
